Julius Dobos is an award-winning, platinum-album European-American composer, sound synthesist & mastering engineer, best known for his eleven album releases and film scores. His production credits include Dragon Ball Z, NCIS, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Erykah Badu and more. Also known as forgotten future, his compositions rely on musical sound design and expression. Dobos’ digital installations, interactive & multimedia performances promote an organic approach to electronic music and have attracted audiences internationally. With a multicultural background and diverse education at the intersection of music, technology, and innovation, Dobos has developed and beta-tested audio tools, mixed & mastered a diverse range of records over the past thirty years. He is a Distinguished Professor at USV, Music & Audio Director of MediaWorks, serves as Vice Chair of AES San Francisco, works in his Studio CS and gives talks in electronic music culture and creativity topics.
